Dharma Productions' Ex-Staffer Kshitij Prasad Purchased Ganja 12 Times In 3 Months; NCB Source Reveals-Reports
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently probing the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood, following actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. It was recently that Dharma Productions ex-staffer Kshitij Prasad was arrested by the NCB. Kshitij’s arrest came in a few days ago, soon after he was interrogated by the agency. Now, in a latest development in the NCB probing the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood, according to a report in IANS, an NCB source revealed that Dharma Productions ex-staffer Kshitij Prasad bought Ganja 12 times in 3 months.

The NCB source revealed that Kshitij was delivered Ganja by Karamjeet many times over the last three months. The report states that Kshitij was delivered the drugs outside his building in Andheri West, Mumbai, and paid Rs 3,500 each time for the 50 gm. The source said, "Kshitij was provided ganja for more than a dozen times between May to July this year. He used to make a payment of Rs 3,500 for every delivery of 50 grams of ganja from Karamjeet.”

Meanwhile, as Kshitij was arrested by the NCB, the sources revealed that the agency recovered a joint that is believed to be remains of smoked ganja from Kshitij’s home, during his house search. The NCB source in the report also said that during the questioning of alleged drug peddler Ankush Arneja, who was arrested by the agency on September 12 had identified Sanket Hanuman Chand Patel as Kshitij’s drug supplier. As per the report, Patel confessed after his arrest that he supplied ganja/weed to Arneja on Karamjeet’s instructions.

Kshitij Prasad is remanded to judicial custody till October 3 after he was arrested by the NCB. So far, the agency has so far arrested 20 people in connection to the drug probe including Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, two of SSR’s staff members and drug peddlers. It was recently that the NCB also questioned actresses’ Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor in connection to the drug probe.
